54772058 PLC Automation Module: Advanced Industrial Control Solution
On this page
What is the Ingersoll Rand 54772058?
A glycerine-filled pressure gauge — the title says "PLC automation module", but the dial itself settles it: IR Ingersoll-Rand · P/N 54772058 over a triple-scale face reading 0–300 psi, 0–2000 kPa and 0–20 bar. This is the service/replacement gauge for Ingersoll Rand compressor packages: a stainless-cased, liquid-filled bourdon gauge with a brass bottom (radial) connection, a black fill plug on the back, and a U-bracket with two long machine screws so it can clamp through a panel or onto a bracket. Five pieces arrived new in their IR factory bags — the bag labels read 压力表 (pressure gauge) over part number 54772058, with two production variant codes seen (TFZ28E65Y2HK and AD4525BF1A2), passed-inspection stamps and IR's China service hotline. Recorded across two intakes (25 November 2025 and 13 June 2026), about 0.5 kg, one-year warranty. Fourteen photos plus the warehouse video below.

Why the liquid fill matters
A bare bourdon needle on a screw compressor chatters itself to death — the pulsation from the airend makes an unfilled gauge pointer flutter until the movement wears loose. Glycerine filling damps that: the oil resists the pointer's motion, the reading settles, and vibration no longer fatigues the linkage. That is why IR ships this gauge on compressor panels and why replacement buyers should keep it liquid-filled rather than swapping a cheap dry gauge in its place. Two fitment points from the photos. The connection is a brass bottom thread, so the dial orientation is fixed by where the port is — the U-bracket and its two long screws are what let you clock the face upright on a panel after the threads are tight. And the black plug at the rear is the fill/vent plug: leave it seated for service, but if the gauge ever reads sluggish after a temperature swing, that is the plug to crack briefly so the case pressure equalizes.
