What is the HydraForce 4303720 coil?

A brand-new HydraForce solenoid coil, part number 4303720, rated 20 V DC — the cylindrical coil that slips over a HydraForce cartridge valve's armature tube and twists into place on its two bayonet lugs. HydraForce prints its identity twice on this part: the top face is embossed HYDRAFORCE around the bore with the hummingbird logo at centre, and the black connector block on the flank is moulded with 4303720 and the rating 20 VDC · B2 21 · PB (voltage, date/batch code, and the Deutsch-style PB connector class). The 2-pin sealed connector on top takes the machine harness directly — no DIN adapter needed — which is the standard arrangement on mobile and industrial hydraulic manifolds where the valve sits exposed to washdown and vibration. Recorded 12 December 2025 at about 0.5 kg, one piece, new and original. Eight photos plus the warehouse video below.

Two checks before it goes on the valve

Cartridge-valve coils fail electrically long before they fail mechanically, so the swap is usually decided by two numbers. The first is the voltage: 20 V DC is a HydraForce standard rating, and it is deliberately different from the 12 V and 24 V options in the same family — running a 12 V coil on a 20 V supply cooks it in an afternoon, while a 24 V coil on a 20 V rail pulls in weakly and chatters, so match the moulded figure to your supply, not the connector shape. The second is the connector: the integral Deutsch-style 2-pin block means the harness side must be the mating sealed plug; if your machine runs bare spade terminals or a DIN form coil, this is not the drop-in, and an adapter is not the answer in a wet environment. Fitting itself is one motion — bore over the tube, twist until the bayonet lugs click, then mate the connector. The unit photographed here is factory-fresh: embossing crisp, shell unrusted, connector pins bright and un-bent.
