What is the 2711P-RDT7C touch screen repair kit?
This kit rebuilds the touchscreen on an Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 700 (2711P-RDT7C): a replacement touch glass with its 25-pin flexible tail, plus the grey front membrane overlay with the die-cut window — the two pieces that wear out on a PanelView after years of gloved poking and washdown cleaning. Twelve kits are in this record, each glass and tail sealed in its own sleeve with the pin-1 markers printed on the polyimide. These are replacement (aftermarket) parts, not Allen-Bradley originals — built to the 2711P-RDT7C cutout and tail pinout. They passed through the Koeed warehouse on 17 October 2025; the intake record lists the set of twelve at 420 元, new in packaging. The photos and video below show them as received.

Rebuild notes
The rebuild order matters: peel the dead membrane off the bezel, clean every trace of old adhesive off the front, fit the new touch glass to the display, then lay the membrane over it and press from the centre outward so no bubble survives under the window. Connect the 25-pin tail with pin 1 to pin 1 — the printed markers on the polyimide are there because the tail fits its socket either way and only works one way. Calibrate the touch straight after power-up (PanelView commissioning mode), and if the cursor lands where you press, the swap is done; if it drifts, reseat the tail before suspecting the glass.
