What is in this batch of Oriental Motor BMP502H?
Four complete sets, factory-boxed: each set is an Oriental Motor BMP502H brake reverse pack — the title says "speed governor", but the front panel itself prints BMP502H · BRAKE REVERSE PACK · 200V 50/60Hz — paired with an Omron P2CF-11-600 round 11-pin socket. This is the controller you put between a 200 V single-phase brake motor and the cabinet: it switches the motor between CW and CCW, drops it to a free stop, and manages the electromagnetic brake, and its face carries three status LEDs labelled CW, CCW and FREE. Each pack is made in Japan (KC and CE on the box label, ORIENTAL MOTOR CO., LTD.), ships with its own Japanese instruction sheet, and plugs into the supplied socket through an 11-pin keyed round connector. How the pack is wired
The black wiring label on top is the whole manual in miniature, and it is worth reading before you order, not after. Left side: the 9-way terminal strip, with the AC supply on one pair, the run capacitor on its own terminals, and the motor's colour-coded leads (the diagram names them wire by wire) landing next to them — that capacitor is a separate part you must have, because a single-phase brake motor will not start without it. Right side: the low-voltage control block, where +12–24 V switched to CW or CCW picks the direction and FREE cuts the motor so it coasts while the brake does the stopping; everything shares one GND with your PLC. Because the control inputs are plain 12–24 V signals, you do not need relays or interposing contacts between a modern PLC output and this pack. The 11-pin round plug seats into the included Omron socket, so a failed pack swaps out in a minute without touching a single wire — that is the whole point of the socket-in-the-box arrangement.
About the P2CF-11-600 socket
Omron's P2CF-11 series is the standard 11-pin round socket for this form factor, and the -600 suffix is the finger-safe version: recessed screw terminals so nothing conductive sits exposed next to your hand, a moulded 10A 250VAC resistive rating on the body, and the yellow release latches that snap onto a 35 mm DIN rail. The keyway in the centre of the socket matches the key on the pack's pin circle, so it is impossible to seat the pack rotated out of position. Pairing the controller with its correct socket, new and boxed, is the usual reason maintenance buyers take all four sets at once.
