DN300 Programmable Logic Controller: Advanced Industrial Automation Solution

What is the DN300 valve assembly?
Note on the listing title: the queue titles this article a "Programmable Logic Controller" — the part is a valve, and DN300 is not a controller model but the nominal diameter: 300 mm, cast right into the valve body. This is a pneumatically actuated wafer-pattern butterfly valve built for dust service: a cast aluminium body holding an orange epoxy-coated disc on twin shafts, driven through an ISO mounting bracket by a Jiangyi JYC101 rack-and-pinion pneumatic actuator (90° rotation, 4-7 bar supply, -20 to +80 °C), with a solenoid valve for the open/close signal and a position indicator box whose transparent cover reads OPEN and CLOSED over a red-green dial. The accessories label on the indicator says it plainly: "BUTTERFLY VALVE FOR DUST PROOF" — this is the isolation damper for dust-collection and pneumatic-conveying lines, where a 300 mm bore has to slam shut on entrained powder. One assembly, new, 30 kg as recorded. All 11 photos and 1 video below show this exact valve.

Why a dust-line damper is built this way
A butterfly valve in a dust line does a harder job than its water-line cousin: the disc closes into a seat that powder has been settling against all shift, and it must still seal. The wafer body handles the mechanical side — clamped between the pipe flanges, the short face-to-face keeps a 300 mm valve light enough for one fitter to handle, which matters at the 30 kg this assembly records. The epoxy-coated disc closes against the full body seat, and the twin-shaft layout spreads the actuator torque across both sides of the disc so a trapped dust bed does not skew it. The JYC101 rack-and-pinion actuator is the standard quarter-turn drive: 4-7 bar of plant air through the solenoid snaps the disc open or shut in under a second, the open/closed indicator shows the position from across the room, and the travel stops inside the actuator set the 90° exactly so the disc never batters the seat. In a dust-collection network these dampers are the isolation points — between a hopper and its filter, before a fan, at a duct junction — and when one fails it is usually the seat or the seals, both reachable without cutting the valve out. As an assembly — valve, actuator, solenoid, indicator and fittings matched and mounted — it drops onto the flange pair and wires to the PLC in minutes.
