Why LUBE insists on no refilling
The label's most prominent warning — do not refill — is not marketing. A spindle-lubrication pump meters microlitres of grease at a time, and a cartridge that has been refilled in the field carries air pockets and contamination that the pump cannot compress: the result is a starved spindle bearing, which fails expensively. The collapsible pouch design is the air-control answer: the can itself collapses as the pump draws, so no air enters the line, and the instruction to squeeze a little grease out before installing primes the fitting and seats the pouch against the pump head. The FS2-7 is the cartridge the LUBE pump family is specified around, and Lot.0K on the label is the grease batch — matching the lot across a machine's cartridges keeps the lubrication properties consistent.
The photographed stock arrived in factory cartons with cell dividers: blue-capped FS2-7 pouches and pink-capped cartridges (the neighbouring variant in LUBE's line) packed side by side.
