MAC 45A-AA1-DDAA-1BA Solenoid Control Valve: Complete Technical Guide

Pre-shipment Inspection Record: This document details the visual and technical inspection of the MAC 45A-AA1-DDAA-1BA Solenoid Control Valve: Complete Technical Guide. All product photos and testing videos below are original materials captured first-hand by the Koeed technical team in our warehouse prior to dispatch.

What is the MAC 45A-AA1-DDAA-1BA solenoid control valve?

The 45A-AA1-DDAA-1BA is a three-way solenoid control valve from MAC Valves' 45 series — a compact pilot and control valve with a 24 VDC coil and a 120 PSI rating on the factory label. The unit in the photos is one piece, new in its original packaging: the white MAC box with the model and barcode on the end label (carton mark C24511), the valve sealed in a MAC VALVES printed bag, the black coil topped with the die-stamped MAC cover, and the teal body casting carrying the A and B port marks. The single unit was received at the Koeed warehouse on 17 November 2025 (about 0.5 kg on the record); the six photos below and one inspection video show it as received.

Fitting notes

The 45 series is MAC's compact three-way line, and units like this one typically work as the pilot stage or as a small control valve driven straight from a 24 VDC output. Before mounting, blow out the pilot piping: the base port carries a fine stainless screen, and that screen is what keeps debris out of the pilot stage, so it should stay in place and stay clean. Wire the coil through its lead to a 24 VDC supply with the correct fuse size, keep the A and B port assignments straight when plumbing (they are cast into the body face), and hand-start both mounting screws before tightening. The valve here is factory original — box, bag, stampings and label all consistent, with no tool marks on the ports.
