Directional Spool Valves & Valve Parts

Directional spool valves connect pressure, tank and actuator ports in different combinations. The spool code identifies how those ports connect in each position, including the center position where one is provided.

For an installed valve, keep the full code and circuit symbol with the replacement request. An identical mounting pattern does not prove identical operation. Coil voltage is a separate choice from the hydraulic function.
