What is the Yamatake DMC10S2CR0100?

Note on the listing title: the queue titles this article a "Delta Motion Control System" module — the part is not a motion controller. The DMC10S2CR0100 is a Yamatake (Yamatake Corporation, today's Azbil) DMC10-series distributed multi-channel controller module: a DIN-rail process-control unit with two universal analog inputs (CH1/CH2, mA or V), relay outputs, four event outputs, current-transmitter outputs, an RS-485 link on the base terminals, and a rear-edge connector that docks it into the DMC10 distributed I/O architecture. The front carries the ADR address selector (0/C/4/8), the LDR loader port and the PWR lamp; the rear label prints the full terminal map. Made in Japan, date code 0608 (August 2006), serial 060820196, approvals cULus, CE and KC, shipped with its Distributed Multi-channel User's Manual. One unit, new in the original box, 1-year warranty as recorded at intake. All 15 photos and 1 video below show this exact module.

What a distributed controller module does

In Yamatake's distributed control architecture, the intelligence sits next to the process, not in a central room: modules like the DMC10 mount on DIN rail inside the machine or panel, each carrying its own control loops, and report upward over the RS-485 link that lands on terminals 4-6. This S2CR build is the two-channel analogue workhorse of that family — CH1 and CH2 each take a universal input (the label's mA/V wiring shows the A/B/C terminal pattern that accepts a current or voltage transmitter), the module runs its control logic locally, and the outputs act on the process: dry relay contacts on 11-12 and 16-17, the CT outputs driving a final element, and EV1 through EV4 as the event/alarm contacts that trip when a loop leaves its band. The ADR selector assigns the module its address on the distributed bus, the LDR port accepts the hand-held loader for configuration, and the rear-edge connector carries both power and the internal bus to the mounting system. The 0608 date code puts this unit in Yamatake's last years under that name — the maker line on the box already carries Azbil Corporation beside the Yamatake head, a document of the brand's transition — and for panels built on this architecture, a sealed original module with its manual is the cleanest way to extend or repair a loop without disturbing the rest of the network.
