What is the Omron H7CX-AS-N counter?
The H7CX-AS-N is an Omron digital counter/timer in a compact DIN case: a 4-digit LCD display with prescale function, accepting multiple count inputs and providing relay and transistor outputs. The -N suffix marks the AC-powered version. Three new units in Omron boxes, made in China, were taken into stock on 30 March 2025.

The H7CX counts pulses from proximity sensors, encoders or mechanical contacts; the prescale function converts raw counts into engineering units (parts, metres, revolutions). Set the prescale and counting speed in the setup menu, wire the input from the sensor per the manual diagram, and use the bank select to switch between total and batch counting.
