Fitting notes
MOTION-CONNECT 800 is the matched cable for the S-210 — signal integrity at encoder frequencies is why the pre-assembled version exists, and splicing one degrades it. Route the cable in the drag chain per the bend radius printed on the jacket, keep it separated from motor power cables, and seat the 17-pin connector until its bayonet locks. If the drive reports an encoder fault after install, reseat the DB25 before suspecting the cable: the most common failure on a fresh install is a half-seated connector, not the cable itself.
