Limit & Snap-Action Switches

Limit switches detect mechanical position through an actuator such as a plunger, roller or lever. The actuator shape and travel determine where the switch operates, so matching the housing alone can shift the switching point.

For guard-door devices, use the specified safety-switch model and its matching actuator. A general limit switch is not automatically a substitute for a safety interlock. Non-contact detection parts are in proximity sensors.
