Thailand's Board of Investment (BOI) has reported a historic surge in advanced manufacturing applications through 2025 and early 2026, with over 180 PCB-sector investment applications alone , worth more than THB 200 billion , filed between 2022 and mid-2025. A THB 10 billion robotics investment in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), led by five Chinese technology firms, will create a humanoid-robot components cluster generating over 1,000 high-skilled jobs.
