Mounting notes
The sensor slides into the T-slot of the matching Festo cylinder profile and locks with a screw through the slot; position it where the piston magnet passes, then slide it along the slot until the switching LED gates cleanly at the desired stroke point before tightening. The 2.5 m cable lands on a PNP input; because the output is normally open, the input card must source current to the sensor. When replacing on a running machine, note that Festo revision suffixes moved over the years, so a same-material-number replacement is the safe match.
