Thermal Overload Protection Relays

Motor overload relays respond to overload conditions as part of a motor protection circuit. Their adjustable current range should cover the intended motor setting; the largest available range is not automatically the right choice.

They are often mounted with a contactor, so the connection arrangement matters when replacing one. An overload relay does not replace the circuit's required short-circuit protection. Browse contactors if the switching component also needs replacement.
