question

Is a solenoid valve repairable?

answer

I've been wondering about solenoid valves lately - you know, those electromagnetic valves that control fluid flow in various systems. I'm curious if they can actually be repaired when they stop working properly, or if you just have to replace the whole thing. It seems like they have several components that could potentially fail, like the coil, plunger, or seals. I'd love to know what common issues make them fail and whether it's worth trying to fix them myself or if it's better to just get a new one.
