If you are new to Omron: Start with resource #2 (the programming manual), then do at least 10 hours on resource #8 (hands-on practice). Skip around the other resources as questions arise.

If you have experience: Focus on resources #3 (application notes) and #7 (forums). This is where you learn the nuances that separate competent engineers from specialists.

The Reality: Half of these resources are free. The investment required is time, not money. Our recommendation: spend 30 minutes per day for 90 days following a structured learning path. After 90 hours, you will be comfortable with any Omron PLC installation.
