GE CK75CA300 AC380V Contactor: Complete Technical Guide for Industrial Automation

What is the GE CK75CA300?
The CK75CA300 is a GE three-pole AC contactor rated at the CK75 frame's top of range: 300 A thermal current, 690 V rated insulation voltage (VDE 0660), for use on circuits delivering not more than 100,000 RMS symmetrical amperes at 600 V maximum — with the box label sizing the AC3 duty at 380-400 V / 75 kW (460 V / 80 HP, 480 V / 125 HP). The coil fitted is the EK4M100-127, accepting 100–127 V AC at 50-60 Hz or DC on its A1/A2 screw terminals — the AC 110 V control voltage the record lists. Each unit ships with a GE BCLL11 side-mounted auxiliary contact block (1 NO + 1 NC, Ith 10 A, Ue 600 V) already fitted. The identification is complete on the body and box: CK75CA300, REF No. 332891, cULus Listed 6CC1 (IND. CONT. EQ.), CCC A015846, CE — with one origin nuance reported as photographed: the contactor body reads MADE IN SPAIN while the carton label reads MADE IN POLAND. This record covers four factory-new units, each boxed QTY: 1 with the mounting hardware kit and multilingual manual, intake recorded 19 January 2026, record weight 3 kg. Seventeen photos and an inspection video document the contactors, coils, aux blocks and packaging.

A 300 A frame for heavy feeders
The CK75 series is GE's large-frame IEC contactor family, and the CA300 sits at its top: 300 amps of thermal current on three poles, which is motor-duty for drives in the 75 kW class at 400 V and, on the HP side of the label, 80-125 HP machines at US voltages. The box-type terminals take lugged cable on studs with the supplied hardware, torqued to the printed 70 lb-in, and the 100 kA withstand figure is what lets the contactor sit directly on a heavy feeder without a current-limiting fuse upstream. The mechanical slide on the cover shows contact state at a glance, and the EK4M coil — accepting anything from 100 to 127 V, AC or DC on the same winding — makes the control wiring forgiving of the supply scheme the panel already runs.
The four units here are one build, each sealed in its GE carton with the hardware bag and the IB 33289 manual: coils labelled EK4M100-127 with consecutive barcode marks, the Spanish-made contactor bodies and Spanish-made BCLL11 aux blocks, and the Polish-printed cartons — the full set of markings photographed so a buyer can reconcile them against their own purchasing records. For an MCC refresh, a genset panel or a large pump starter, a same-type four-pack covers a feeder and its standby, with two spares on the shelf.
