Gp20Na Compact PLC Controller: Advanced Industrial Automation Solution

Pre-shipment Inspection Record: This document details the visual and technical inspection of the Gp20Na Compact PLC Controller: Advanced Industrial Automation Solution. All product photos and testing videos below are original materials captured first-hand by the Koeed technical team in our warehouse prior to dispatch.

What is the GP20Na?

The GP20Na is a GP20Na-1 high-pressure sodium (Na) discharge lamp — a tubular HID lamp with an E40 Edison-screw base, boxed three to this record — not a PLC controller as the listing title suggests. The construction is the classic sodium lamp build: a clear tubular outer bulb, a polycrystalline alumina arc tube inside carrying the sodium charge (its amber getter coating is visible through the glass), a wire support frame holding the arc tube, and a nickel-plated E40 base at the bottom. Each lamp ships in its own plain carton labelled GP20Na-1. The lot is three lamps, new, intake recorded 29 October 2025, record weight 1 kg. Six photos and an inspection video show the lamps from the arc tube to the base.

Part details

GP20Na-1, as read from the lamp construction and box label
Field Value
Type High-pressure sodium (Na) discharge lamp, tubular (T) format, model GP20Na-1
Base E40 Edison screw, nickel-plated brass
Construction Clear tubular outer bulb; PCA arc tube with amber getter; wire support frame; internal starting component visible beside the arc tube
Operation Requires a compatible ballast (and ignitor where the fitting demands it) — HID lamp, not a direct line-voltage bulb
Packaging Plain cartons marked GP20Na-1, one lamp each
Condition New, 3 lamps; intake 2025-10-29, record weight 1 kg

Values are read from the photographed construction and the box label; electrical ratings follow the lamp's own datasheet, as the carton carries no rating print.

Where this lamp belongs

Sodium lamps live where lumens per watt matter more than colour rendering — yard lighting, warehouse aisles, greenhouse supplemental light, street fittings. The tubular format with the E40 base drops into the standard lantern gear, and the amber getter on the arc tube is the sign of a properly processed lamp: the getter has already soaked up the impurities that would otherwise shorten arc life. The wire frame keeps the arc tube centred in the outer bulb so the thermal profile stays symmetric, and the internal starting component visible beside the arc assists ignition before the sodium vapour fully strikes.

The three lamps here are one type, boxed separately, glass unmarked and bases bright — clean stock for a fitting refresh. When a sodium installation starts cycling (lamp strikes, warms, extinguishes, repeats), the usual culprit is an ageing lamp past its voltage rise; swapping all lamps in a fitting bank at once, as this three-pack allows, keeps the remaining lamps from masking the diagnosis.
