What is the B&R 3AM050.6?
The 3AM050.6 is a B&R power supply module for the 2003 automation system: the grey slot-in module that feeds 24 V DC to the CPU and I/O modules plugged in beside it on the rack. This unit is revision C8, and the label carries the B&R name, part number, cULus listing (UL E115267, IND.CONT.EQ) and CE mark, with the moulded B&R 2003 housing — latches on the flanges, ventilation slats over the electronics, and the system bus connector reaching into the rack backplane. New condition, handled by the housing only. It passed through the Koeed warehouse on 21 July 2025; the intake record lists it as B&R brand. The photos and video below show it as received.

Rack notes
Slot the module into the leftmost position and close both latches — the 2003 bus connector is at the rear of the slot, so a half-seated module powers nothing and faults everything. The diagnostic LED on the faceplate is the first check when a rack comes up dark: dark LED means the module or its feed, lit LED with a faulted rack means look at the CPU instead. Keep one spare supply per line; in a 2003 system the supply is the single point every other module depends on.
