What is the NSK 6305ZZCM?
The 6305ZZCM is an NSK deep groove ball bearing from the HPS (High Performance Standard) line: 25 mm bore, 62 mm outside diameter, 17 mm wide, closed on both sides with the ZZ pressed steel shields — the CM in the suffix marks the motor-grade low-noise class NSK builds for electric motors and quiet-running equipment. The outer ring is laser-marked NSK JAPAN 6305ZZ, and this lot of ten arrives in the gold NSK HPS boxes, lot NS7S 008. HPS is NSK's standard-with-an-upgrade line: the same envelope as commodity 6305 bearings, but with better steel, tighter runs and the low-noise cage finish. The bearings are new in original boxes. They passed through the Koeed warehouse on 16 October 2025; the photos and video below show them as received.

Fitting notes
The ZZ shields are labyrinth-style metal caps — no grease escapes, no dirt gets in, which makes them fit-and-forget in most motor jobs. Press only on the ring being fitted (inner ring onto shaft, outer ring into housing); pressing through the shields transfers force into the balls and bruises them. If your motor runs hot, remember a shielded bearing holds the factory grease only — a shielded bearing can't be re-greased, so high-temp applications should step up to an open bearing relubricated in place instead.
