Pre-shipment Inspection Record: This document details the visual and technical inspection of the HLM8619 Industrial LCD Display Module: Complete Technical Guide for PLC Applications. All product photos and testing videos below are original materials captured first-hand by the Koeed technical team in our warehouse prior to dispatch.

What this delivery is: four HLM8619-040300 5.7-inch industrial LCD display modules — the blue-mode monochrome panel built on a Hosiden TW-22 board, MADE IN TAIWAN as silkscreened on every PCB — brand new, four pieces, one-year warranty per the record, received stock dated 2026-01-17. One housekeeping note before the detail: the first photograph stored for this delivery shows four metal-can transistors (Hitachi 2SJ56/2SK176) that have nothing to do with these displays — a mixed-in image from another delivery's set. It is excluded from this article; the thirteen remaining photographs are all of the display modules and all were reviewed individually.

Reading the module

The HLM8619 is a 5.7-inch monochrome LCD module of the classic industrial type: a blue-mode TN panel in a silver-grey metal frame with four slotted mounting ears, a CCFL backlight assembly in the metal channel along the bottom edge, and the display's own driver board bonded across the back. The board is marked TN / HLM8619-040300 / MADE IN TAIWAN, and carries eight QFP driver ICs in two rows — the chips legible as 9146C09 0910TW/BP 0400W2 — plus a trimmer potentiometer (VR) for contrast and an FFC tail under yellow Kapton that carries the video signal to the host board. The backlight runs off a separate two-wire pink/white pair ending in a four-pin plug, AWMS 20624 80C 60V VW-1 rated cable. Each board wears a small red Chinese QC sticker (dated by hand, 年月日 style) beside the driver array. In service this module is the drop-in replacement panel for the operator terminals and text/graphic HMIs that shipped with the HLM8619 display — the storefront listing carries the sibling -05087 version for the same family.

Fitment notes

Swapping a panel of this generation is a frame-level job: the four ears bolt to the operator terminal's bezel, the FFC tail seats into the host board's ZIF connector (unlock the latch before pulling — forcing a locked FFC tears the tail), and the backlight pair lands on its plug with no polarity guessing because the plug is keyed. Set the contrast trimmer after power-up, not before — a TN blue-mode panel that looks blank in a cold cabinet often just needs the VR moved a quarter turn. Handle the module by the frame only: pressure on the polarizer shows up as mottling that never clears. Two boards reverse — Two boards face-down together: the same eight-driver layout and silk on each, backlight leads parked with their plugs — pairs ready for two machines.

Fourth unit front — The fourth module front-on: bezel bottom edge with the backlight channel, ears level, polarizer film intact — the set's condition in one frame.
