Service notes
Swap these on wear, not on failure: pull a collector shoe when the carbon face wears near the holder's wear line, because a run-out shoe cuts the rail and drops power at speed. Match the insert stamp against your rail series before installing — Wampfler's K-series uses several insert grades, and mixing grades across one collector arm makes the harder shoe carry all the current. The small hardware bag in the lot carries the fixing screw for the holder; torque it evenly so the shoe sits square in its channel.
