661C1 Compact PLC Controller: Advanced Industrial Automation Solution
On this page
What this delivery is — and the listing title needs correcting before anything else: a Vacon variable-frequency-drive control board, not a PLC. The assembly number on the barcode label is 661C1 1202 0800 PS, the silkscreen on the solder side carries the Vacon name and the drawing number 61697-7644, and the 37-pin D-sub I/O connector along the board edge is the Vacon control-board signature — this board is the brain that mounts inside a Vacon drive, reading the I/O and driving the power stage. Condition is used, pulled from a working removal, 80% new per the receiving record, received 2026-02-11, 0.5 kg, with a two-month warranty and a repair-house tag on the rear reading "replacement — no return" (替换不能退换) with reference number 2736999.
What the board carries
The component side is a dense two-sided layout: a large QFP processor family — one big device centre-frame with a cluster of supporting ASICs and memory around it — a crystal can for the clock, and row after row of double-row pin headers along the lower edge, which is how the board mates to the drive's display/option stack and the power terminals. Power comes in through the two black plug-in connectors at the board's corners, and the 101K-marked inductors and tantalelm capacitors around the headers are the local supply filtering for the logic rail. The solder side is conformal-coated with the Vacon silkscreen and drawing number 61697-7644, and the DB37 male connector — the I/O harness port carrying analog inputs, digital I/O and the encoder/commutation lines of the drive — sits on the left edge with its jack screws.

Swapping a drive control board
The control board is the part of a Vacon drive that carries the parameter set, so the swap is board-plus-configuration, not board alone: photograph or download the old board's parameters before it comes out (the keypad can read them; a dead board means re-entering from the drive's manual), then move the ribbon to the keypad, the power connectors, and finally the DB37 harness one wire group at a time. The handwritten no-return tag on this board reflects how these boards are traded — pulled, function-checked, and sold as replacements — which is exactly the economics that keeps a ten-year-old drive alive for the price of a board instead of a new cabinet.
