Siemens AGG5.110 CAN Bus Connection Shield - Complete Technical Guide

Pre-shipment Inspection Record: This document details the visual and technical inspection of the Siemens AGG5.110 CAN Bus Connection Shield - Complete Technical Guide. All product photos and testing videos below are original materials captured first-hand by the Koeed technical team in our warehouse prior to dispatch.

What is the Siemens AGG5.110 contact set?

The AGG5.110 is a Siemens contact set for machine-tool electronics racks — six spring-contact assemblies, each a zinc-plated clip with two cross-recess screws, a grey lead and a gold-plated pin contact at its end. In the Siemens numbering (AGG = contact/accessory range for SINUMERIK and SIMODRIVE electronics), this bag is the standard six-piece set; the listing title's "CAN Bus Connection Shield" wording overstates it — the photographed goods are the contact clips themselves, bagged under a hand-lettered AGG5.110 label. Each clip's shape reads its job: the forked feet snap against the rack rail, the curved spring bridge presses a contact finger onto the mating surface, and the grey lead with its gold pin carries the connection to the shield or earth point beside it. One bag, six assemblies, received new; it passed through the Koeed warehouse on 7 July 2025 (ordered at 95 each per the intake record), and the five photos and video below show it as received.

Fitting notes

These clips live where a rack or module must touch its earth: the feet grip the mounting rail, the two screws clamp the bridge at the height the cabinet uses, and the gold pin lands in the shield or earth terminal beside it — the gold plating is why the contact stays low-resistance over years of cabinet vibration. Fit them with the lead dressing away from power conductors, and keep the bag's six-piece count intact when planning a retrofit, since racks typically take these in matched pairs along the rail. Nothing on the photo set shows wear: the plating is bright, the screws turn freely, and the leads are factory-dressed.
