34B-L00-GDFA-1KA Industrial Automation Module: Comprehensive Technical Overview
On this page
What is the MAC 34B-L00-GDFA-1KA valve?
Five brand-new MAC Valves 34B-L00-GDFA-1KA three-way solenoid valves, each in its factory white box with the valve bagged with its mounting screws and the MAC instruction sheet. The nameplate on every unit reads MAC · WIXOM MI USA / LIEGE BELGIUM / TAIPEI · MODEL 34B-L00-GDFA-1KA · ELECTRICAL 24 VDC · WATTS 4.0 · VAC TO 120 PSI with the 3-way circuit symbol and the cURus mark — a compact 3/2 poppet valve in MAC's 34B family, the valve automation engineers reach for when a machine needs millions of short, sharp shifts on clean air. The coil is fed by flying leads that plug into a two-pin connector block on top of the coil; the valve mounts on its bottom manifold face with the three-port layout, and two machine screws are in the bag for that job. The box labels are dated 07/20/20 with routing via Hong Kong (FARESTONE IND. LMT). Recorded 26 November 2025, five pieces, about 0.5 kg as recorded, new, one-year warranty. Ten photos plus the warehouse video below.

What the 34B does on a machine
The 34B series is MAC's compact three-way: a spring-offset poppet that shifts a small cylinder, actuator or signal line between supply and exhaust the moment the coil sees 24 VDC, and springs back the moment it loses it. MAC's poppet construction is balanced, so the shift does not hang on a sticking spool — this is why these valves survive the very high cycle counts on pick-and-place and clamp circuits that kill cheaper spool valves. Two practical points from the nameplate. The VAC TO 120 PSI line is the supply ceiling: regulate to well under it and the poppet seats cleanly; run a header at line pressure and you pay in seat life. The 4.0 W coil is the low-draw DC version — it switches happily from a PLC transistor output through the flying leads, and the 2-pin connector block on top means a failed coil or valve swaps in seconds without rewiring the panel. The bag's instruction sheet carries MAC's standing warning that the air supply must be clean and dry — filtration is what keeps the exhaust port from becoming a grit blast.
