Pre-shipment Inspection Record: This document details the visual and technical inspection of the GPL227 Programmable Logic Controller: Advanced Industrial Automation Solution. What is the GPL227?

The GPL227 on this record is Krytox GPL 227 — a Chemours Performance Lubricants fluorinated (PFPE) grease in 1 kg pails, two of them to this lot — not a programmable logic controller as the listing title suggests. The pail label carries the full identification: Krytox Performance Lubricants, GPL227, LOT-XB720, 1 KG, with the NSF mark beside a box reading NONFOOD COMPOUNDS H1 (NSF H1 registration — acceptable for incidental food contact), the Chemours logo, and the KCC mark. The reverse panel names Chemours Performance Lubricants at 1007 Market St., Wilmington, DE 19801 U.S.A., prints Product of U.S.A., the note "This product has no expiration date", and the buyer-facing warning "If the seal is broken, do not purchase" — every pail here still carries its blue lid with the anti-counterfeit QR seal intact. The record's own remark describes the lot as domestically sourced grease in original packaging (国产油脂, 原装包装); the pail label itself reads as above, and both statements are reported as recorded. What GPL 227 is for

Krytox greases are PFPE-based — chemically inert, non-flammable, and oxygen-compatible in a way hydrocarbon greases are not — and the 227 grade is the line's rust-protected variant for bearings and mechanisms that must survive extreme temperature swings, aggressive chemistry, or vacuum where conventional grease would boil off. The NSF H1 box on the label adds the food-plant dimension: machinery in bakeries, beverage lines and packaging halls can run this grease on bearings where incidental food contact is possible without breaking the H1 audit trail. The "no expiration date" print reflects the chemistry — the grease does not oxidise in storage the way mineral products do — and the broken-seal warning is Chemours' own anti-tamper policy, which is why the intact QR seals on both lids matter to a buyer.

The two pails here are one lot (XB720 on both labels), lids sealed, labels clean — a matched pair for a lubrication programme that standardises on one grade.
