What is the DA08025B12UH fan?

The DA08025B12UH is an 80 × 80 × 25 mm DC axial cooling fan built by Shenzhen Huaxia Hengtai Electronic (the "M" mark on the hub label) — DC 12 V at 0.50 A, and the four-wire version of the 8025 size: red and black carry the supply, yellow returns the speed (tach) signal, blue takes the PWM speed-control input, all four landing in a white 4-pin connector. The label carries the cUL US recognition and CE marks over MADE IN CHINA, and the leads are printed UL1007 24 AWG 80 °C. Two units, new, as photographed. All 5 photos and 1 video below show these exact fans.

What the four wires buy you

The 8025 frame is the mid-size workhorse of electronics cooling — power supplies, amplifiers, compact controllers, 3D-printer electronics bays — and the difference between this fan and a plain two-wire unit is control. Two conductors power it. The third, yellow, is the tachometer: two pulses per revolution the host board counts to verify the fan is actually spinning. The fourth, blue, is the PWM control input: the board can throttle the fan down when the enclosure is cool and ramp it up under load, trading noise for cooling exactly where it is needed. The UH suffix on the model marks this full-feature build; replacing a failed UH unit with a two-wire look-alike restores airflow but blinds both the speed supervision and the quiet mode. Match all four conductors and the keyed white 4-pin housing when ordering, and the pin order too — reversing tach and PWM on a 4-pin header is the classic no-spin fault. At 12 V / 0.50 A the draw is modest enough to hang directly on a supply rail without a driver stage. Two fresh units are photographed here — one in service, one on the shelf.

Two fans with labels
Both units, labels up: DA08025B12UH, DC12V 0.50A, SHENZHEN HUAXIA HENGTAI ELECTRONIC CO LTD, MADE IN CHINA — green-and-white hub stickers with the cUL US and CE marks.
Fan in hand
One fan held to the camera: the 80 mm black frame, the four-colour loom (red, yellow, blue, black) leaving the corner, and the second unit beside.
Intake side with connector
The intake side: seven-blade impeller behind the finger frame, and the four leads running to the white 4-pin plug at the bottom.
Wire gauge printing
The loom in close-up: the black conductor's print — UL1007 style, 24 AWG, 80 °C, AWM — legible along the insulation.
4-pin connector face
The white 4-pin housing face-on: four openings in the keyed shell — the mating detail a replacement must match, pin order included.
