What this delivery is: two Leadshine HBS758S AC hybrid servo drives — closed-loop stepper drives for NEMA 34-class motors — brand new and original, one per carton with the connector kits bagged inside, received 2025-10-23, 4 kg for the pair per the record, one-year warranty. The label block settles the electricals: Model HBS758S, input 1-phase 75 VAC 50/60 Hz, output 0–75 V at 8 A, with each unit carrying its own serial — 994355895732592509MS20M on one, 994356895732525059M520M on the other — and the Leadshine Technology QR code and www.leisai.com web mark.

What "hybrid servo" means here

The HBS series is Leadshine's closed-loop stepper platform: a stepper motor fitted with an encoder, the drive watching that encoder and correcting position and load angle in real time. You get stepper torque at open-loop prices with servo-style behaviour — no lost steps under load, no nuisance over-travel alarms, and the drive only pushes the current the load demands, which is why it runs cooler and quieter than an open-loop stepper drive on the same axis. The HBS758S is the 75 V AC class of the family — feed it single-phase 75 VAC (a control transformer secondary, or the 60–80 VAC supply the platform expects) and it drives the motor at up to 8 A, which pairs it with the larger NEMA 34 closed-loop motors.

Wiring it into a panel

The layout is self-explanatory once you see the side: power and motor on the grey pluggable terminal (AC L, AC N, A+, A−, B+, B−), control on the 44-pin CN1 (pulse/direction or the built-in I/O set), encoder loop on the DB15 CN2, and tuning on CN3's mini-USB with Leadshine's configuration software. The three warning blocks on the label are the ones people skip: bond the PE terminal before power — the drive's filter needs it; wait the ten minutes after shutdown before touching terminals, because the bus capacitor holds charge; and the finned top plate with its fan gets hot in normal service. Both drives carry factory QC-passed stickers on the top plate and ship with their connector kits in the box.
