Historical parts record: Photos and notes below belong to this record. Confirm the offered unit’s full model, condition and available test evidence before ordering.

The Mitsubishi FX2N-4DA is the four-channel analog output expansion for the FX2N PLC family — each channel sources −10 to +10 VDC or 0 to 20 mA, powered from 24 VDC, hanging off the right side of the CPU through the supplied ribbon cable. This unit is version 1.10, a 2024.09 certification batch (KC KCC-REI-MEK-09M114), still in current production at Mitsubishi's Japanese plant. New in the sealed factory carton, serial 2492608, received 2026-01-23, 1-year warranty.

Using the module

Four output channels share 12-bit resolution; voltage mode drives −10 to +10 V into a load of 2 kΩ to 1 MΩ, current mode sources 0–20 mA at up to 500 Ω. Buffers hold the output values, so the analog levels survive a PLC stop. Setup is the standard FX block transfer — write the channel enable word plus per-channel data and range codes from the CPU program. A DP (D/A power) LED faults with the 24 V supply, which is the first thing to check when outputs read zero.

Condition and delivery facts

New in the sealed carton with all accessories: dust-proof film set, ribbon cable fitted, documentation sheet. Received 2026-01-23, single unit, 1-year warranty.
