Fitting notes
Because this is a domestic replacement for a Deublin catalog number, check the mounting thread and rotor thread against your old union before ordering — dimensions follow the pattern but tolerances can differ slightly. Fit with a wrench on the hex flats, keep the plastic sleeve on the rotor until the mating coupling is ready, and hand-spin the rotor after mounting: it should turn freely with no gritty spots. First-run check is a paper-towel wrap at the seal face after ten minutes of rotation — a damp towel is normal bedding-in, a drip is not.
