GE Fanuc IC693ALG390 Series 90-30 Analog Output Module: Complete Technical Guide
On this page
What this delivery is: a GE Fanuc IC693ALG390 analog output module — the Series 90-30 two-channel ±10 VDC voltage output card — brand new in original packaging with the factory information card, one-year warranty per the record, 1 kg, received 2026-02-07. This unit is the early joint-brand build: GE roundel beside the red FANUC block on the face label, and the rear nameplate closes with GEFanuc — the partnership era of the 90-30 line, made in Charlottesville, Va., USA, barcode A543562 0928.
Reading the module
The IC693ALG390 is the two-point voltage output of the 90-30 analog family: two channels, each swinging −10 to +10 VDC, with 5 mA of drive per point — enough for chart recorders, drive references and isolator inputs, not enough to run anything that needs real current. The terminal door labels it all in one strip: OUTPUT ANALOG VOLTAGE, CHANNEL 1, CHANNEL 2, and the rating line −10 to +10 VDC / 5mA/Pt. Behind the door each channel is a +/− pair; the module registers into the CPU's %AQ table in slot order, and the output updates on the backplane scan. The rear nameplate carries the hazardous-location set shared across this family: cULus Listed 8M89 E157515, Class I Div 2 Groups ABCD, EEx nA IIC T5 X, 0C to 60 °C ambient, T4A — the card is rated to sit in a Division 2 panel without extra enclosures. The box also carries the factory IMPORTANT PRODUCT card — the READ THIS sheet with the explosion-hazard wiring warnings and the NEC Article 501-4(b) reference that Division 2 installs work to.

Fitment notes
This is the card for analog command signals: a speed reference to a VFD's −10/+10 input, a position setpoint to a servo drive, a ratio to a controller. Respect the 5 mA — buffer through an isolator or a signal repeater if the load draws more, because a loaded voltage output droops and the loop that depends on it drifts with it. The two channels share the module's ground; keep the output runs away from the AC wiring or use shielded pairs grounded at one end. Swaps are slot-for-slot, and a 90-30 CPU reads it back into %AQ with no reconfiguration when the slot is kept. The 90-30 records in this series now line up as a rack: the IC693ALG223D 16-point current input, this IC693ALG390 voltage output, and the IC693CMM321 communications module.
