Second, check the housing label against your dead panel, not just the part number: the V3 revision carries the label exactly as photographed (SMART 700 iE V3, F-State 05), and project files from a V2 panel open fine on V3 but the Ethernet behaviour differs slightly between generations. Third, mind the power: the moulded warning on the back says 24VDC only — feeding it 220V through the X80 terminals is the classic way these panels die, and the DC plug in the accessory bag is the correct mating part.
