0187098X PLC Industrial Automation Controller - Advanced Control Solution

Pre-shipment Inspection Record: This document details the visual and technical inspection of the 0187098X PLC Industrial Automation Controller - Advanced Control Solution. All product photos and testing videos below are original materials captured first-hand by the Koeed technical team in our warehouse prior to dispatch.

What is the 0187098X friction plate?

Ten brand-new large friction plate assemblies, part number 0187098X inkjet-marked on every plate with a QR traceability code — the friction discs for the Winergy BE30 / BM30-31 to BM62 holding brake family, the park/holding brake inside wind-turbine and heavy-drivetrain gear units. Each plate carries a segmented (piston-cut) friction facing on its outer ring, a hardened internal-spline steel hub at the centre riveted through the core plate, a black damping ring between hub and facing, and — the detail that matters at overhaul — a curved spring ring seated in the spline root (visible in the close-up) that helps the plate separate when the brake releases. Every plate weighs about 2 kg, carries its own 0187098X/0003 spray code plus QR, and arrived new with the original film on some units. Recorded 27 November 2025 as a ten-piece lot, one-year warranty. Fourteen photos plus the warehouse video below.

Why this plate is specified, not substituted

A holding brake plate lives a different life from a clutch plate: it sits clamped for weeks, then must release cleanly and take a full stop-torque event without glazing. That is why the details in these photos are not cosmetic. The segmented facing lets oil flow across the surface so a long-clamped plate does not stick to its separator; the black ring at the hub damps the micro-movement that would otherwise chew the spline; and the spring ring in the spline root pushes the plate off the pack the instant hydraulic pressure drops — without it, released plates drag, cook the oil, and the brake "wears" while the turbine thinks it is parked. When the brake is opened for service, match the new plates by the spray code and QR on the steel, not by outside diameter alone: sibling Winergy brake sizes in the BE/BM range look alike but differ in spline and thickness, and the code is the only part of the plate that cannot lie.

Six plates laid out
Six of the ten plates as opened: segmented friction facings, splined hubs, and one plate still in its protective film.
Steel plate back with spray code
The steel back: bright machined core plate, riveted spline hub, and the 0187098X/0003 spray code with QR on the face.
Spray code close-up
The identification at reading distance: 0187098X/0003 inkjet and the QR — the traceability pair to match at overhaul.
Plate edge showing layers
The edge view: friction facing over the steel core — the sandwich that makes the plate.
Second plate, hub side
A second plate hub-up: spline, rivet ring and the plate's own spray code on the steel.
Plates with second marking
Six plates from the hub side — every one carries the code plus an additional plant marking on the steel.
Stacked plates edge-on
Stacked edge-on: the facings, core and hub line up plate to plate — a consistent, factory-matched lot.
Spline close-up
The internal spline at magnification: fine-pitch straight teeth, machined clean — the fit that decides which brake size this plate serves.
Plates with film
Plates around the open film-wrapped one — packed faces protected as shipped.
Single plate three-quarter view
A single plate from above: segmented facing, damping ring at the hub, rivets, and the facing's own QR mark.
All ten plates
All ten laid out in two rows — the complete lot as recorded, one plate still filmed.
Hub ring detail
Hub detail: the black damping ring between spline hub and facing — the anti-fretting element most cheap substitutes omit.
Hub and spring ring
Deep into the hub: the spline teeth with the curved spring ring seated in the root — the anti-drag element described above.
Spring ring close-up
