Assembly notes
Slide the shell over the stripped cable, crimp the gold pins onto the power conductors with the proper crimping tool, and insert them into the white insert until they click — pull-test each pin before closing. The green seal seats in the shell groove; a missing or pinched seal breaks the connector's IP rating on the motor. Torque the threaded collar onto the motor's receptacle hand-tight plus a quarter turn — overtightening cracks the insert. The printed sheet covers the crimp dimensions for the standard MOTION-CONNECT cable gauges; match the pin count to your motor's power variant before crimping, as the size 1 kit serves several SIMOTICS models.
