ProSoft PLX Industrial Gateways

An industrial gateway exchanges data between supported communication systems. For a ProSoft PLX replacement, the full gateway code identifies the relevant interfaces and protocol combination; the PLX prefix alone is not enough.

Start with the devices and protocols on each side, then establish the data mapping required between them. Replacing the hardware may also require restoring the saved gateway configuration. Products from other manufacturers with “PLX” inside their number are not automatically gateway alternatives.
