  5. First power-up with no motor. Bring the drive up with the motor disconnected and the enable input open. Watch the DC-bus voltage settle and the 24 V rail come up before applying enable.
  6. Re-load parameters from the controller card. The supply module itself is largely transparent to the parameter set, but the drive may have logged a trip history that needs clearing. Use the PLC error code database if a trip code does not match the manual.
  7. Log the swap. Stamp the date and serial of the new module on the cabinet drawing. A 8200 Vector line that has had two supply-module swaps in five years usually has an upstream power-quality issue worth chasing.
