Delta DVP08XN211R Expansion Output Module: Comprehensive Guide for Industrial Automation
On this page
What is the Delta DVP08XN211R?
The DVP08XN211R is a Delta 8-point relay-output expansion module for the DVP slim PLC family — the right-side extension that adds eight relay outputs (Y0–Y7, split across the C0 and C1 commons) to a DVP CPU, powered from 24 VDC at a maximum of 1.2 W. The face carries the identification in Delta's shorthand: 08XN2, 8DO, and the R badge for relay, with a POWER LED and eight OUT status LEDs; the rear label states the ratings — OUTPUT MODULE 2.0 A per point at 250 VAC resistive load, cULus Listed 70HF IND. CONT. EQ., CE — over the Delta Electronics name and MADE IN CHINA. The module clips to the DIN rail on DINKLE SE5D terminal blocks, takes the 6-pin removable plugs on both output sides, and links to the CPU through the EXTENSION PORT connector under the top cover. This record covers three factory-new units — serials 08XN211RW15510030, 15510099 and 15510135, each in its Delta box labelled 可编程序控制器配件 — intake recorded 20 January 2026, record weight 0.5 kg. Nine photos and two inspection videos document the modules from both terminal sides, the rear label and the packaging.

Values are read from the face print and the rear label; the common split (C0/C1) follows the terminal markings.
The eight points a machine always seems to need
Every slim-PLC project hits the same wall — the CPU's built-in outputs are committed, and the machine still has eight solenoids, stack lights or indicator banks left. The DVP08XN211R is Delta's answer: eight relay points in a two-finger-wide module that snaps onto the DIN rail beside the CPU and connects through the extension port, no wiring harness between them. The relay output is the practical choice for mixed loads — 2 A per point at 250 VAC covers contactor coils, valves and lamps without solid-state derating worries, and the two-common split (C0 for Y0–Y3, C1 for Y4–Y7) lets one module serve two voltage groups. The removable 6-pin plugs mean the panel can be pre-wired and the module clicked in at commissioning; the eight OUT LEDs show state per point from across the cabinet.
The three units here are consecutive Delta production — serials 15510030, 15510099 and 15510135 — each boxed with the Chinese-labelling accessory marking and photographed from both terminal sides, rear label and the bottom DIN clip. For a panel shop stocking the DVP family, three same-type modules cover a three-station build or one live spare plus two for the next project.
