  4. Auto-tune: trigger motor identification through C0148 = 1 (with rotation) or C0148 = 2 (no rotation) — the no-rotation form is recommended when the motor is mechanically coupled to the drivetrain.
  5. Application mode: select C0005 = 1000 (terminal control), 2000 (keypad) or 3000 (fieldbus). Save the resulting parameter set into the MM memory module so a spare inverter swap is minutes, not hours.
  6. Diagnostic interface: the X1 service port pairs with the Lenze EMF2173IB adapter and Global Drive Control software; on-board LEDs flash a two-digit code that matches the imprint label inside the cover.
