Beckhoff EK EtherCAT Couplers & Junctions

The Beckhoff EK1100 and EK1122 serve different EtherCAT roles. The EK1100 connects a terminal station to EtherCAT. The EK1122 is a two-port junction that provides additional EtherCAT connections.

Choose according to the missing function in the station, not simply the EK prefix. For individual signal or motion terminals, use Beckhoff EL terminals. Beckhoff's product overview separates couplers, junctions and terminal functions.
