SVCAB-PWR075CA-150L-10 / 15m — Servo Motor Power Cable (7.5 kW class, 600 V)
Servo Cable · 3-Phase + PE · 15 m · Drag-Chain Rated
The SVCAB-PWR075CA-150L-10 15m is a flexible, oil-resistant servo motor power cable rated for 7.5 kW class drives, terminated for direct connection between a
Yaskawa,
Mitsubishi,
Panasonic,
or
Allen-Bradley
servo amplifier and a remotely mounted servo motor. The 4-conductor (U / V / W + PE) stranded-copper construction with PVC or PUR outer jacket is drag-chain compatible and rated for long-cable robot cells, gantries, and indexing tables where the drive cabinet and motor must be physically separated.
Engineers most often source this cable as a drop-in replacement for the manufacturer's own servo power lead, including Yaskawa SigmaSeries cables used with Sigma-7 and Sigma-V amplifiers, Mitsubishi MR-J4 / MR-J3 power leads, and Panasonic Minas A5 / A6 power leads. KOEED cross-references the equivalent original part numbers on request.
Available lengths include the

20 m
variants in the same 150L conductor cross-section. For a deeper look at the full cable family, see the

Application Scenarios — Where It Fits
The 15 m variant of SVCAB-PWR075CA-150L-10 is intended for installations where the servo drive and the servo motor are mounted in physically separate locations — too far apart for the manufacturer's standard 3–10 m factory lead. Common deployments include:
- Long-cable robot cells in automotive body-in-white and assembly, where the
Yaskawa
or
Fanuc
cabinet sits at the cell boundary and the manipulator motor is several metres away.
- Gantry systems and linear transfer lines using
Mitsubishi
MR-J4 or
Panasonic
Minas A6 servos on a moving axis.
- Indexing tables and rotary indexing conveyors in packaging machinery driven by
Omron
or
Schneider
Lexium servo amplifiers.
- Machine-tool tool-changer axes and spindle-tilt drives using
Siemens
Sinamics S120 or Fanuc βi amplifiers where the motor lives on the moving slide.
- Vision-inspection cells where a
KEYENCE
camera or lighting tower is mounted on a servo-driven positioning stage.
- Replacement of damaged or missing factory leads on legacy
Allen-Bradley
Kinetix 6000 / 7000 systems where the original cable is no longer available from the OEM.
- Drag-chain (cable carrier) installations in bottling, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage lines where flexing life and oil resistance are mandatory.

Integration & Wiring Notes
A 7.5 kW class servo power lead carries the full 3-phase drive current from the amplifier bus to the motor windings, so conductor size, shielding, and connector choice all directly affect drive behaviour and EMC compliance. Before installing SVCAB-PWR075CA-150L-10 / 15m, verify the following:
-
Conductor & phase mapping. U / V / W on the cable must land on the matching U / V / W terminals at the drive and at the motor. Swapping any two phases reverses rotation direction; if rotation is wrong, power down and swap two phases rather than re-flashing the drive parameters.
-
PE (protective earth) is mandatory. The green/yellow PE conductor must be terminated at both ends to the drive's ground bar and the motor's frame ground. For CNC machine tools with EDM-sensitive spindle encoders, run the PE separately back to the cabinet ground bus, not daisy-chained through the cable chain.
-
Encoder / signal cable separation. The SVCAB power cable is the power side only. Encoder feedback and resolver signal must run in a separate shielded cable (typically a SV-ENC or SVCAB-ENC part number). Bundle them at 90° crossings, never in parallel for more than a few centimetres.
-
Connector pin-out series check. Yaskawa Sigma-7, Mitsubishi MR-J4, Panasonic Minas A5/A6, Allen-Bradley Kinetix, Siemens Sinamics, Fanuc αi, Omron Accurax, Schneider Lexium, and KEYENCE servo motors all use proprietary circular connectors. Confirm the connector keying and pin count (M23 vs M40) before ordering. KOEED cross-references the original factory part number on request.
-
Minimum bend radius. For drag-chain service keep the bend radius ≥ 7.5× cable OD; for fixed installation ≥ 5×. Tight bends will damage the high-flex stranding and cause early conductor failure.
-
EMC & shielding. If the application uses safety-integrated drives (STO on Yaskawa Sigma-7, Safely-Limited Speed on Siemens S120), route the power cable away from encoder lines and use the cable shields on both ends to the drive ground bar.

Installation & Commissioning Tips
-
Lay the cable before energising. Unreel the 15 m lead carefully and let it relax for at least 30 minutes if it was stored on a small drum. Torsion visible in the jacket after install will fatigue the conductors quickly under cyclic motion.
-
Drag-chain segregation. Place the power cable in its own chain segment, separated from encoder and signal cables by at least one spacer or by an empty chain crossbar. Stacking power and signal in the same chain is the most common source of encoder noise on Yaskawa and Mitsubishi systems.
-
Torque the connector back-shells. Most M23 / M40 servo connectors specify 0.5–0.8 N·m on the back-shell to body thread. Over-torque crushes the grommet and breaks the seal; under-torque lets oil ingress in food-grade washdown lines.
-
Verify insulation resistance. Before first power-up, megger the cable phase-to-phase and phase-to-PE at 1000 V DC. A reading < 100 MΩ for the full 15 m length suggests a damaged jacket or pinched insulation, often at the connector grommet.
-
Confirm rotation before coupling the load. Run the drive in JOG mode with the motor uncoupled. If rotation reverses the intended direction, swap two of the U / V / W conductors at either end (not the PE). On Fanuc and Yaskawa systems, this is the only correct way to reverse rotation; do not change parameter Pn001 / No. 2002 if you can avoid it, as it also swaps the encoder count direction.
-
Watch for over-current on long runs. At 15 m the cable is within the OEM-recommended length for 7.5 kW drives, but if you run multiple drives in parallel in a long cable tray, derate the loop length or use reactors. KOEED engineers can size reactors and line filters on request.
-
Document the run. Label both ends with the cable part number, length, and the date of install. The
KOEED installation gallery
shows typical labelling practice for retrofits and new cells.
For deeper engineering reference, see the
servo cable selection guide or the
PLC Error Code Database
if a Mitsubishi, Omron, or Siemens drive throws a cable-related fault on first power-up.
Procurement, Warranty & Lead Time
