The BT40-ASK16-90 is a high-speed ER16 collet chuck engineered for vertical machining centres and high-RPM machining spindles. The ASK series balances a slim nose profile with the standard BT40 (MAS 403) taper and an ER16 (1–10 mm) collet system, while the 90 mm gauge length keeps the cutter close to the spindle bearings — the geometry that lets this holder run safely at 16 000 RPM without TIR excursions that would destroy a 1 mm micro-tool.

Spec it on a Fanuc / Mitsubishi high-speed drilling-tapping centre, or use it as a direct replacement for worn-out BT40-ER16 chucks in mould & die, graphite machining and small-diameter end-mill work where balance class and run-out matter more than raw metal-removal rate.
