The FM22-1.9 AEV550 is a matched mechanical cutter arm and AEV550 gearmotor assembly used on a wide range of straight-knife and round-knife fabric cutting machines. The cutter arm carries the blade holder and provides the rocking / oscillating geometry that keeps the knife edge in clean contact with the cutting table, while the AEV550 gearmotor delivers the high-starting-torque, low-RPM drive that the FM22 cutting head was designed around.
