BKC TMG-N7000 Temperature Controller — Multi-Input PID Process Controller, 96×96mm Panel
BKC · TMG-N7000 · Digital Temperature / Process Controller · In stock
The BKC TMG-N7000 is an advanced digital temperature and process controller from
Chinese OEM BKC, designed as a cost-effective alternative or direct replacement for legacy
controllers used across factory automation and process-control lines. It accepts a wide
range of inputs — thermocouple (J / K / R / S / B / E / T / N), RTD (Pt100 / Cu50), and
analog (0–10 V / 4–20 mA / mV) — and drives relay, SSR driver and
4–20 mA re-transmission outputs from a single 96×96 mm DIN panel cutout.
Engineers deploying
Siemens
or
Allen-Bradley
PLC backbones can use the TMG-N7000 as a local loop controller and integrate it over
RS-485 Modbus RTU for SCADA visibility, recipe download, and remote tuning.
This listing is for 1 piece of the BKC TMG-N7000 with multi-input board, PID
auto-tune, fuzzy logic, and ramp / soak program control. Whether you are maintaining a plastic
extruder, a food-grade pasteurization line, or a laboratory autoclave, the TMG-N7000 is built
to slot into a 96×96 mm panel cutout and start controlling temperature within minutes.

2. Application Scenarios — Where the TMG-N7000 Fits
The BKC TMG-N7000 is a general-purpose loop controller. It is commonly deployed wherever a
single-zone temperature (or other process variable such as pressure, flow, or level via
4–20 mA) must be held to a tight setpoint — typically with PID auto-tune to
remove manual loop-shaping. The multi-input board and SSR driver make it a drop-in fit for
OEM machines, retrofits, and pilot lines across the process industries.

3. Integration & Wiring Notes
Sensor wiring. Thermocouple inputs use the dedicated TC terminals at the rear
and must be wired with the correct compensating cable; do not run TC extension wire alongside
power cables. Pt100 / Cu50 RTD wiring should be 3-wire for best accuracy — if the sensor
lead is short, a 2-wire shorting link can be added at the terminals, but expect reduced
accuracy. For 4–20 mA / 0–10 V analog inputs from a transmitter, use shielded
twisted pair with the shield grounded at one end only.
Output wiring. The relay output is rated for resistive loads only — when
switching a contactor, solenoid or heater contactor, add an RC snubber across the coil. The
SSR driver is a low-voltage DC pulse suitable for solid-state relays; size the SSR to the
heater current. The 4–20 mA re-transmission output can be wired to a chart recorder,
remote indicator, or directly into an analog input on a
Allen-Bradley
/
Siemens
/ Schneider I/O module to surface the same PV to the SCADA layer.
RS-485 Modbus wiring. Use a daisy-chained shielded twisted pair (Belden 3106A
or equivalent), terminate both ends with 120 &Omega resistors, and assign a unique slave
address (1–247) to each TMG-N7000 on the trunk. Default register map typically exposes
PV (0x0000), SV (0x0001), MV% (0x0002), run/stop (0x0004) and alarm status (0x0005) — refer
to the BKC Modbus register sheet for the exact layout of your firmware revision. You can
validate frames on the KOEED
Modbus CRC Calculator
before commissioning.
Power & grounding. The 100–240 V AC supply should be fed from a
dedicated breaker with an EMC line filter upstream of the panel. Earth the controller chassis
to the cabinet ground bus with a short, low-impedance braid. For 24 V DC cabinet
installations, dimension the PSU to cover the controller plus its SSR loads' holding current.
4. Installation & Commissioning Tips
Panel cutout. Cut a clean 92×92 mm (or 96×96 mm per
manufacturer spec) hole in the cabinet door, slide the controller in from the front, and
lock the side mounting brackets. Do not over-tighten — plastic bezel threads can crack
and will compromise the IP seal. Keep at least 50 mm clearance above and below for
ventilation.
First power-up. Apply power and check that the PV shows the ambient
thermocouple / RTD reading correctly. If you see "Sbr" (sensor break), the input wiring or
sensor type selection is wrong. Set the input type code (e.g. 0 for K-type TC)
in the parameter menu before connecting a sensor. Confirm decimal-point position and
engineering unit (°C vs °F) match your process.
Auto-tune. With the heater wired and the process at ambient, enter the
target setpoint and trigger the AT (auto-tune) function from the front panel. The
controller will run a few on-off cycles, calculate P / I / D terms and store them. For
processes with long thermal lag (large ovens, autoclaves), allow the AT cycle to complete
undisturbed — it can take 10–30 minutes. After AT, verify the MV% response to a
small setpoint step before committing to production.
Program / ramp-soak. For batch profiles (e.g. food cook curves, heat-treat
recipes), use the multi-segment program mode: define ramp rate, soak time and target SV
per segment. Up to 30 segments are typical. Recipes can be uploaded / downloaded over
RS-485, which is useful when standardising
collections
of identical ovens across multiple lines.
Troubleshooting tools. When commissioning, use the KOEED
PLC Error Code Database
if the controller posts a fault, the
PLC Hex to Float Converter
to decode any Modbus register values that look off, and the
PLC Analog Calculator
to translate the 4–20 mA re-transmission back to engineering units. For
end-of-life or hard-to-find replacements, the
AI Diagnostic Tool
can suggest cross-references to alternative controller models.
5. Procurement, Warranty & Lead Time
Each BKC TMG-N7000 ships brand-new in the original factory box with mounting brackets and
a printed English datasheet. Standard KOEED warranty terms apply: every unit is bench-checked
before dispatch, and worldwide shipping is available via DHL / FedEx / UPS with full
commercial invoice, packing list and, on request, a
China Sourcing Company
QC report. Because KOEED is a multi-brand distributor (not the OEM), final warranty handling
is coordinated through our service team — not through BKC directly.
Lead time. Single-piece and small-quantity orders are typically shipped
within 2–3 business days from our Shenzhen / Hong Kong warehouse. Bulk orders (50+
pieces) usually require 7–15 business days depending on configuration; confirm via
email. Pricing follows our standard B2B RFQ model — no public list price is published
on the product page — so the final unit price is set in the quote returned to you.
