Q1: How to test the compressor winding without the inverter?
A: Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the three pins (U, V, W). They should be nearly identical (balanced 3-phase). If any pin shows open circuit or ground short, the compressor is defective. Do not apply 230VAC directly to these pins.
Q2: The compressor is running but the fridge isn't cooling?
A: Since VEGZ11C uses R600a, it is highly sensitive to moisture and system blockages. Check the filter drier. Also, verify the VCC signal (PWM or Frequency) from the mainboard is actually telling the inverter to increase RPM.
Q3: Can I replace a VEGZ11C with a standard On/Off compressor?
A: No. The refrigerator's main control board is programmed for inverter communication. A standard compressor will not start, and the system will trigger a communication error code.
