Q1: The display connected to the board shows an "E1" or "Probe Error". Is the board dead?
A: Not necessarily. This usually indicates an open or shorted NTC thermistor. Disconnect the sensor from the RITC230E01 board and measure its resistance with a multimeter. Use our diagnostic tool above. If the sensor is fine, the analog-to-digital converter on the board has failed, and the board requires replacement.

Q2: The relays are clicking, but the compressor is not starting.
A: The control board typically acts as a dry contact switch. Verify that the incoming 230V line voltage is actually present at the common (COM) terminal of the relay block. If power is present but doesn't pass to the Normally Open (NO) terminal when the relay clicks, the internal contacts are burnt out.
