Toky TE8-RC10W Intelligent Temperature Control Meter — 100-240V AC/DC, PID + Auto-Tune
Toky · TE8 / RC10W Series · Digital PID Controller · In stock
The Toky TE8-RC10W is a compact intelligent temperature control meter from
Toky’s TE8 / RC10W
family of digital PID controllers, designed for panel-mount thermal regulation on the
factory floor.
It accepts a wide range of thermocouple and RTD inputs, runs fuzzy-logic + PID with auto-tune, and drives
relay, SSR or 4-20 mA re-transmission outputs — all from a single 100-240 V AC or DC universal supply.
Pair it with the KOEED multi-brand sourcing service to land a tested unit with worldwide shipping and a
24-hour quote on your desk.
Engineers at plastic-extruder, injection-mold, food-and-beverage, kiln, oven, autoclave, semiconductor,
life-science and HVAC sites use the TE8-RC10W as a drop-in replacement for older analog temperature
meters that have drifted out of spec. Send the full BOM to

and we will reply with availability and lead time within one business day.
1. Key Technical Specifications & Overview
The TE8-RC10W is a single-loop, panel-mount digital PID controller with a 96×96 mm DIN cutout and
universal 100-240 V AC / 100-240 V DC supply. It supports nine thermocouple types (J, K, R, S, B, E, T, N),
Pt100 and Cu50 RTDs, plus 0-10 V, 4-20 mA and mV analog inputs. The fuzzy-logic + PID control algorithm
with auto-tune adapts the loop to changing thermal loads, while built-in ramp/soak profiles handle
multi-step curing and sterilization recipes.

2. Application Scenarios — Where the TE8-RC10W Fits
The TE8-RC10W is engineered for any single-loop thermal process that needs tighter control than an
analog meter can deliver. The 4-20 mA re-transmission output makes it a clean fit for plants that are
modernizing one loop at a time inside a wider
factory automation
stack that already runs Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Fanuc, Schneider, Yaskawa, Panasonic
or KEYENCE controllers.
- Plastic extruder barrel and die temperature control, often next to a
Allen-Bradley CompactLogix
line controller.
- Injection-mold hot-runner zones where ramp/soak profiles protect sensitive tool steel.
- Food & beverage pasteurization, retort and CIP loops with PID auto-tune on start-up.
- Kiln, oven and heat-treat furnace profiling for ceramics and metallurgy.
- Pharmaceutical autoclave and incubation chambers requiring tight ±0.3 % FS accuracy.
- Semiconductor wet-bench and chamber temperature regulation alongside
KEYENCE vision
inspection cells.
- HVAC air-handler, chiller and cleanroom temperature trim loops in
Schneider Modicon
BMS nodes.
- Life-science and laboratory incubator / refrigerator stacks under
Omron SYSMAC
SCADA supervision.
3. Integration & Wiring Notes
The TE8-RC10W drops into a standard 1/4 DIN cutout and exposes its terminals on the back of the
bezel. Power, sensor and output terminals are clearly grouped, but the loop is a low-voltage signal
circuit — keep thermocouple / RTD runs physically separated from any AC switching wires in the
same trough to avoid induced noise on the PV reading. Use shielded, twisted-pair cable for analog
inputs and ground the shield at the controller end only.
| Power terminals |

|
| Sensor input |

|
| Control output 1 (relay) |

|
| Control output 2 (SSR) |

|
| Re-transmission |

|
| Communication (RC10W) |

If the controller is being added next to a
Yaskawa
or Panasonic
PLC, map the Modbus registers once and lock the parity / baud rate to the same as the rest of the
cabinet. For legacy
Allen-Bradley
or Fanuc
cells, use the 4-20 mA re-transmission output to feed the existing analog input module — no
protocol translation needed. Cross-reference questions? Send the cabinet layout to our RFQ inbox.
4. Installation & Commissioning Tips
Panel cut-out is 92 × 92 mm to accept the 96 × 96 mm bezel; use the supplied metal clips to
clamp the controller into panels from 1 mm to 6 mm thick. Allow at least 50 mm of clearance above
and below the bezel for cooling and for routing sensor / output cables. The TE8-RC10W shares the
same form factor with the TE8 family, so a swap from an existing analog meter is a
cut-out-only job in most cabinets.
- Configure input type (TC / RTD / mV / 0-10 V / 4-20 mA), range, and decimal point before
applying power — the PV display shows a sensor-break alarm if the wrong type is selected.
- Set the control mode to PID and run auto-tune from ambient with the heater at room temperature
for a clean first-pass identification of Kp, Ti, Td.
- For ramp / soak recipes, program at least two segments in the profile menu and use the hold /
run keys on the front panel; this is the same workflow used on Omron and
Siemens SIMATIC
panels.
- If you see a persistent 4-20 mA loop oscillation, check shielding termination and confirm the
PLC-side analog input is configured for current, not voltage.
- For multi-loop control in a large furnace, daisy-chain up to 32 TE8-RC10W units on RS-485 to a
single SCADA node — this is a common pattern in
process control
retrofits.
- Calibration check: a 0 °C ice-bath and a 100 °C boiling-water reference are sufficient for
spot-checking Pt100 inputs; a Type K simulator covers most thermocouple work.

5. Procurement, Warranty & Lead Time
KOEED sources the Toky TE8-RC10W as a brand-new unit, not a refurbished one. Every controller is
bench-tested for input / output sanity, sensor-break alarm response, and 4-20 mA re-transmission
accuracy before it ships. Pricing is RFQ-driven, so we do not post a fixed catalog number; a
typical single-piece quote covers the unit, traceable QC paperwork, and worldwide shipping with
DHL / FedEx / UPS as standard.
